How SmartVault pricing works
SmartVault is cloud document storage and client-portal software for accounting firms, sold per user per month.
Per user per month, with a minimum number of users on each plan (3 on Business Pro, 2 on Accounting Pro and on Accounting Unlimited) and a lower per-user rate when billed annually. Prices are in US dollars only.
What to check before you quote a SmartVault price
Both price sets are on the page at once
The Monthly/Annual toggle shows only one set. The higher figures are the monthly-billing prices and the lower ones the annual-billing prices, so compare monthly with monthly and annual with annual.
Multiply by the minimum users
Each plan card states a minimum number of users, so the lowest possible monthly cost is the per-user price times that minimum.
“Includes all Core Features” means the plan inherits Business Pro’s inclusions
The unlimited-storage and unlimited-client claims are printed only on the Business Pro card; the other two cards say they include all Core Features. Do not read that as fewer inclusions.
Usage-based add-ons are not plan prices
A usage-based add-on (SmartRequestAI) is sold per return and only with the annual Accounting Pro and Accounting Unlimited plans. It is separate from the plan price.
What these prices do not include
To keep like-for-like comparisons, this page leaves out:
- The SmartRequestAI usage-based add-on
- Older plans such as Standard, which third-party review sites still quote but the live page no longer lists
